Training and Employment Exchange Programme (TEEP)
Ark Foundation, New Delhi
Friends,
Please find concept note of Training and Employment Exchange Programme (TEEP) for educated unemployed youth of Okhala, New Delhi. Ark is developing this programme with the help of Shakeel from Aman Biradari.
Yesterday we had a meeting with Youth Reach for strategic support. They have agreed with the idea and open to support us. We will be meeting them again for develop a concrete programme to execute this project. This project will be a pilot project and depending on our experience we will be replicating it in other areas also.
The purpose of this project is to map the unemployed youth and train them for employment. We are also contacting prospective organizations including corporate bodies for placement of trained youth. We are planning to provide customized training as per the requirement of organizations.
We shall be grateful for your comment, criticism and suggestion to make this programme successful. We are also looking for other organization to join us in this initiative.
Thanks and regards,
Shaheen

Dear Shaheen and the team of ARK,
It is a wonderful idea to begin with. Quality HR is at premium every where. We would eagerly await reports on how the program shapes in times to come. I do not how far we would be successful in placing such skill-built people in various companies, but it would certainly give them a platform for self employment even if they do not get a permanent job. This so because Okhala and areas around we believe would open a lot of avenues for entrepreneurs.
Jaiprabha as I discussed with you is in the process of upgrading it's website, a major step towards making it self self-sustainable. Temporarily the website is hosted at URL www.jaiprabha.stage2.us . I would welcome your comments and suggestions to improve our website further.
